Semester 1: Week 9
This week we prioritized doing the documentation for the game. We had two documents to complete: The Game Design Document and Publishing Plan.
Each member of the team helped in filling out the information in the documents relevant to their roles. No practical work was done on the game this week, as we wanted to fully immerse ourselves in our writing. Bu working on this documentation, we can finalize design decisions for the game and further flesh out mechanics and story elements.
We started looking at what we need for future deliverables for the alpha, beta, and gold. This production plan will help us with completing our product backlog and ensuring our game stays on track.
We are also very happy with how our tweets have been received by gamers. Our Twitter nearly has 40 followers at this stage and at the moment we are averaging around 10-15 likes per tweet. While these are low numbers, it is good to see that even very early on in the project we have received some traction and have piqued people's interests. Hopefully, by the time we release the alpha, our Twitter will break the 100 follower mark. https://twitter.com/NeonDemonGame
