Semester 2: Week 3


This week was spent finalizing the tutorial area, adding any necessary functionality to the level. This included adding the enemy nav mesh, cutscenes, Belial pathfinding, and other necessary features. The second level was also further white boxed, with both combat areas conceived and white boxed in Unity.

The slow down mechanic has also been altered to allow the player to have more movement control whilst in the slowed down state. The player's speed in this slowed down state has been increased, allowing them to take even more advantage of the slow down environment.

We are gearing up for our Alpha deadline, which is on the 28th of February. This Alpha represents the final scope of our game, with every area we want for our game finalized and white boxed. The Alpha also represents our final system lock for the game. The team will spend the up-and-coming weeks working on finalizing the Syn City level as well as begging to polish every asset in the game.
